I was looking at how certain china use to be made, especially in Europe. I adore the blue pattern work called Wedgewood or Blue Willow. I also have a fondness for Burleigh Willow. In remembering those patterns, I was inspired to do an entire series of art nouveau work in blue. This particular one is named after my favorite crayon.
This was created on 8×12 white sketch paper. I used a fine tipped blue “Sharpie” and a ball point pen.
