Lace Gloves With a Key by Lenora Brown

I have this theory about men and women which I do believe was given to me by divine intervention. I think that women have all of the keys they need and it takes Wisdom for them to find out which ones they can actually use to her fullest potential. She has an inordinate amount of confidence and assurance when she knows who she is and what her purpose is in life.
Now men, since the beginning of time, we all know that men need help. It is written in scripture. In so doing he knows marriage is inevitable whether he believes it now or later – he knows he needs a woman in order to gain that help. Here is where the theory comes in. It is up to him to go and find that particular woman that has those particular keys that he needs to get the specific help he is looking for. If he dives in too soon because she has a nice body only, or its her eyes, or the intoxicating perfume, or he just couldn’t help himself because of her kisses… and so forth and so on…well, he misses an opportunity and later finds that his choice was the wrong one. Men should be of a specific age so he has something to present himself with in order to find that particular woman with those specific keys. She has the Wisdom to know which one she is waiting for. Its amazing to find that patience is all that is needed. So many divorces and failed relationships all because of a lack of patience.

This is the second one of the series.

This drawing was created on white drawing paper with fine and medium tipped black ink.

Lenora has been a Counselor/Family Worker for over 20 years. Currently, she has found have an inordinate amount of time working in the geriatric community. Using the time constructively, Lenora was crocheting with some of the ladies, as she use to with her mother who taught her the craft. In so doing, one of the ladies mentioned how she would have liked to have a portrait drawn. Lenora took on the task and was inspired to continue. The illustrations here are mostly inspired by her childhood.

Fantastic artwork and an interesting description too.

  • Thank you Dave… by tomorrow there will be a slight change in the image seeing that it didn’t scan evenly and I doctored it up a bit. I hope it will be an improvement. So glad to see your comments again. :)
