Thats Not How I Dance

Lenora Brown

Oak Park, United States

Artist's Description

This is one in a series of four about a child that one could depict as being spoiled or just knowing what she does and does not want. She could be a very precocious and decisive child or a whinner. This would be up for interpretation but solely for the first few years upon the structure of the parent… oh and how every adult behaves that she comes in contact with. Wow, like or not it does take a village to raise a child. Have you ever thought of who you influenced without even knowing it? My mother always said be on your best behavior because you don’t know who is watching you and why.

This was done on 12×16 watercolor cold pressed paper with black fine tipped ink and red gel pen.
