A mehndi design I was practicing with.
This was deleted accidentally by the website. I had to resubmit it.
This piece was completed on 14×17 cold pressed watercolor paper with fine tipped black ball ink pen.

Lenora has been a Counselor/Family Worker for over 20 years. Currently, she has found have an inordinate amount of time working in the geriatric community. Using the time constructively, Lenora was crocheting with some of the ladies, as she use to with her mother who taught her the craft. In so doing, one of the ladies mentioned how she would have liked to have a portrait drawn. Lenora took on the task and was inspired to continue. The illustrations here are mostly inspired by her childhood.
