Artist's Description

It has been one of the projects that I have always wished to do and would find something else to distract me from doing it. The bible has some wonderful stories that need illustration. Unfortunately, I seem to see the same illustrations for the same stories. Once deciding to do something different all of sudden became the challenge. This illustration shows Eve, though she wasn’t named until the fall of man. She is simply called, “woman”. There wasn’t much time for her to get use to her surroundings before crap happens. So here you see Adam’s leg standing over her, and the serpent (with legs and arms like an alligator) crawling away because he wasn’t interested in talking to Adam.

This image was created on 9×12 white mixed media paper with medium to fine tipped black ink.
