How gullible are we expected to be? by LeonD

Posted on May 22, 2011

So they finally “Got Him!” Bullshit! I am disgusted with the world’s politics and politicians, have been for many years. This last effort has finally clinched it for me. Ten years to roundup a caveman with crook kidneys, who was purported to be the mastermind of pretty well all the terrorist attacks in the world for the last almost ten years. Now don’t get me wrong, I am in no way sympathetic nor do I condone any attempts by Muslims to violently foist their ideals on the rest of the world. But! I do believe in a fair go i.e. that is to give a person accused of any crime or wrongdoing the opportunity to state their case in a fair trial hearing whatever, but at least, given a chance. As a so called civilized society we owe it to ourselves to be fair and just when dealing with alleged wrongdoers. We should not allow ourselves to sink to the levels of the criminals and exercise summary justice or pre-emptive attacks on others. Are we to believe that this unarmed person put up such a fight that he couldn’t be taken alive? The excuse for shooting him at almost point blank range was that “he did not comply with the rules of engagement and put up his hands in surrender.” The whole exercise was an operation of convenience. Then, at the end to claim burial at sea, why? Because shark shit tells no tales and, here’s the clincher, no-one will be able to exhume the body (if there was one) for a positive ID. “But, we have his DNA” said one woman official, whose name escapes me. Bloody hell! Just who do they think we are that they expect us to swallow their continuous bullshit? What is “having his DNA” supposed to prove? Does it mean that we are now expected to accept summary executions as the norm for anyone the administrations of the west set their sights on? If this is the case then we are at an all time low as “civilized” societies. Lookout Julian Assange, there’s a red dot on your forehead, along with many other persons of interest I suspect, Michael Moore for instance, and possibly myself when this is posted.

From the outset, that is, from 9/11 until now there are too many gaps in the stories of our illustrious leaders. Consider this scenario:-
A president steals an election from his opposition to enable him position himself to invade Iraq. He feels the need to finish a job his daddy didn’t. Regardless of his repeated lies about “weapons of mass destruction” he is struggling to gain the support of the most of the UN as well as his own citizens, mainly because the reports of the UN weapons inspectors were that there were NO weapons of “mass destruction” to be found. A conspiracy is convened with others of his ilk to carry out a terrorist attack on the by now well known New York landmark, the Twin Towers trade centre. The others involved in this also have much to gain in ensuring there is a reasonably large scale war going on somewhere in the world, at this point in time the Arab world is preferred. Somewhere with a loony dictator in charge. This would make it easier to convince people that it was a terrorist attack carried out by Arab perpetrators.

Without going into too much detail as to the carrying out of these attacks the following scenario could apply.
Passenger jets could be loaded with passengers, leave their departure points then, sometime into the flight will be, under the guise of a terrorist threat, ordered to be flown to other remote airfields. There the passengers will be off loaded. The flight numbers of these planes could be used for other planes of a similar size loaded with fuel and flown under radio control into the Twin Towers a few minutes apart. There will no fighters available to intercept these “hijacked” planes because they will have been conveniently deployed many miles away on other exercises or fictitious operations.

This is what actually happened, the first plane hit almost dead centre, but the second hit a corner of the second tower spilling most of its’ fuel load into space. Considering this was a plane supposedly under the control of a desperate suicide pilot wouldn’t it have been more accurately aimed? Bear in mind these towers were designed to withstand the impact of a loaded airliner the size of a 747. However; despite this, and for the first time in the history of high rise buildings, the towers were reduced to rubble a very short time after impact and in a very much choreographed style. Not even the Empire State Building was so affected after a B25 bomber collision to floor 79 of a building of 102 stories, in July 1945. This collision left a hole 18 feet high by 20 feet wide with much of the internal structure being badly fire damaged down as far as the 75th floor. This left the weight of 23 floors above the weakened floors with a huge hole in the side, despite this the building remained standing. Bear in mind this building was completed in 1931, some 41 years before the Twin Towers were, using a much more basic technology.

Pretty much everything was destroyed when the towers collapsed, bodies, office equipment, the exotic metals of airplane engines, everything that is, except paper passports of the alleged perpetrators of this crime which were picked up almost undamaged in the street after the towers collapsed. Amazing! Was David Copperfield involved?

Mission accomplished! A green light for war is blinking! G.W. Bush is now joined by the “The Coalition of The Willing”, Howard, prime minister of Australia and Blair, prime minister of the UK. Bush introduced the (suspect your neighbor) “Patriot Act” enabling wide sweeping powers to detain any suspicious person almost indefinitely without charges or trial. Not to be outdone Howard introduces the (be alert but not alarmed) “Terrorist Act.” This gave him similar powers to Bush, i.e. detain forever any suspect without charge or trial. I am not sure about the name given to the UKs’ laws but they have similar powers. They conveniently call it “preventative detention.” All three “leaders” encouraged people to “dob” in their neighbors if they suspected them of any shenanigans. God help you if you carried your groceries in after dark.
Because of the suspension of regular procedure, such legislation is sometimes criticized as a form of lois scélérates (villainous laws) which may unjustly repress all kinds of popular protests. Critics often allege that anti-terrorism legislation endangers democracy by creating a state of exception that allows authoritarian style of government. Governments often say that these laws are necessary temporary measures that will be dispelled when the danger finally disappears, but these laws seem to be self perpetuating because they still exist today. It seems ironic that even with these laws in place in the UK; the London bombings were carried out by third generation Muslims, POMS by birth with no real connection to their “motherland”. How did bin Laden from his cave, make contact with them to plan this attack? I wonder!
Meanwhile to ensure an almost unlimited supply of cannon fodder, many, if not most of the industrial areas of the USA were turned into economic wastelands, no work for millions. Enter the recruiting agencies saying, “Uncle Sam has a job for you boy, sign here.” The supply of possibly not so willing bodies thus assured, the war continues even to this day and has expanded.

Now here are facts, “The Coalition of the Willing” joined forces, and, against the advice of the UN, waged an undeclared war on Iraq. Thus began “The War on Terror” in the; as Bush so eloquently put it “Axis of Evil”. Three weeks later Bush declared victory and began to pour billions of dollars of hard earned tax payer money into Iraq to “rebuild” it and install “democracy”. The money available to mercenary contractors drew many from far and wide. This caused many innocent and not so innocent people to be kidnapped and held for ransom. Many lost their heads in videoed executions. A greedy ex-patriot American who claimed Australian citizenship was one such victim. Howard, in a massively publicized display of humanitarianism, spent twelve million tax payer dollars sending highly trained soldiers to rescue him and return the fat fool to Australia. What a slap in the face for hard working Australian tax payers, aged pensioners and WW2 veterans who can hardly afford food on the miserable pensions but all have contributed so much with their blood sweat and tears. Meanwhile, back at the ranch the Bushes are living it up because of the profits generated by their huge oil and other business interests, some of which are right where the war is taking place, Dick Cheney is having a ball on the profits of Halliburton. God only knows what Howard got out of it, except perhaps the kudos of having sided with the world’s most powerful lunatic. It all became too much for Blair who quit politics, only to be later hauled up before a Senate enquiry that at one point was considering charging him with war crimes. Howard was finally well and truly booted out of his Prime Ministerial Office, the only second Prime Minister to ever loose his seat, and the loss of his job, in the history of the Australian Parliament, while GW’s time was finally up, but not before he had allowed corporate America to wreck havoc on the world’s economy. What a mess!

Now the world’s in a mess, another president takes over. Only he knows why he would take on such a mess. The same applies in Australia, a bit of a mess, but economically better of than most other countries. A prime ministerial shuffle here in Australia, some politicians come and go. Meanwhile people of the world struggle against the economies and nature. But, we have survived, so far!

Now the incumbent American president is having popularity problems. Enter a summarily executed bin Laden. America united, waved flags, cheered, Australia cheered, and Al Qaeda reportedly executes a few ex-pats and elects a new leader. So the cycle continues. Doesn’t matter, the presidents’ popularity immediately jumps by 11 points, how convenient? What a scapegoat that bin Laden. What amazing script writers is the Whitehouse staff. The fat cats of the elite live high on the hog, meanwhile two thirds of the world starves. The wool has been pulled over our eyes. Middle America shrinks along with the equivalent in the UK and Australia, the elite and poor ends of the societies expand; finance has been shifted giving corporations almost unfettered access to money and political control. Democracy in these countries stops at the ballot box; from thereon we are at the mercy of self gratifying, rat bag politicians. Why would America and many other industralised countries want total world peace? They are the most prolific purveyors of lethal weapons in the world, followed closely by France and the UK, probably in that order. Australia, well, we make nothing here so cannot contribute in the area of manufactured arms. Almost everything here comes from China these days. We dig holes, send it to them, they turn it into stuff and send it back to us, we use it for a while, soon after it is thrown on the tip. Our politicians can only contribute to the mayhem by supplying useful young bodies of our youth to be sacrificed to the will of corporations in fighting their useless, unwinnable and in many cases, illegal wars.

Ho hum, more of the same, I temporarily rest my case. We are governed by rat bags.

They captured and killed the most wanted man in the world, then buried him at sea within 24hours?

    REALLY?

THE most wanted man in the world and you dispose of the body and don’t release ANY photos. or allow dignitaries from other counries [especially those that followed you into this war] to view the body?

    REALLY?

Oh, and now that you say you have buried him at sea [because no country wanted the body] – there is no body to perform an autopsy upon, so no-one else can prove its him. We just have to take your word for it, huh?

And BTW… within 24hours you knew with certainty that no-country wanted the body? What was wrong with the good ole US of A taking him? You wanted him, you got him, now you throw him away?

Look there may have been a time when everyone believed your rhetoric Uncle Sam, but those of us with a brain, those of us who can think for ourselves, no longer believe a single thing you say, you are a bunch of liars and war mongerers, and frankly you are worse than the enemies you seek to destroy.

  • LeonD:

Hi Byron, good stuff couldn’t agree more. Thanks. Cheers Leon.

How easy the worlds population falls into the political ‘trust us’ hands and ‘believe’ everything that is shoved down their throats huh?
I have watched so many vids on YouTube full of way too many facts (not just lame conspiracy theories) and didn’t take me long to realise long ago that everything you’ve said here makes more sense to me than what the worlds politicians want us to believe.
If we didn’t have these fake wars and suspects, they’d all fall in a heap and the ‘sheep’ wouldn’t vote them in.
They rely on the sheep to keep the economy just how they plan it.
When will people stop walking around in constant la la land?
OBL dead and buried at sea conveniently with NO proof?
Sure, that’ll make everyone feel better won’t it? Not.
There’s no evidence to prove anything one way or the other now, and the whole orchestration of the capture is laughable.
Even Saddam Hussein got the chance to say his side of the story…..
Obviously it’s better when there is only ONE side to the story in this case…

Excellent write Leon, couldn’t agree with you more!!!

  • LeonD:

Hi Tracey, one sided stories by their very nature cannot be questioned I find this is almost the norm in the political scene now. Misrepresentation, followed closely by outright lies appears to be the order of the day. Thanks Tracey.

As a general rule as soon as anyone mentions the words ‘politician’ or ‘politics’ my eyes glaze over. But I have to say your read was riveting. Why don’t newspaper reporters write like this? Never mind. Stupid question.

  • LeonD:

Hi and thank you Carol. As you may appreciate there are many more chapters I could add to this sad story but, right now time does not permit. Love your pelican crossing pic. Cheers Leon.

It is impossible for any intelligent person to have faith in the (official)history of the world, when all they see and hear in their lifetime is corruption, lies and conspiracies !

  • LeonD:

Hi Lance, how true have to agree. Cheers Leon.

  • Russell Holder

    Russell Holder

Ever see the movie,“Shooter,” with Mark Wahlberg… and the classic line,“The truth is what I say it is.” I think it speaks to the values they want to misrepresent to us… and we are pretty damn gullible. The sad truth is the bigger the lie… the more believable it is. Great vent and sentiment.

  • LeonD:

Yes Russell, they continually pull the wool over our eyes and get away with it. I have grown up continually questioning “authority”, even when I was a member (not through my own choosing) of the military establishment. This has made me mostly unpopular even with people I have been trying to protect. People seem to be frightened of the laws politicians put in place to try and control us. No one want to be made an example of and as a consequence just go along with them. The world is full of “sheepel”. I am thankful for people like Michael Moore and Julian Assange who are prepared to take a stand. Yes, I agree with you that the bigger the lie the more it is believed. Most people would not want to believe that their own leaders would pull a stunt like the Twins Towers fiasco just to enable them to point a finger at someone else, to curry favour and justify going to war against them. Thank you for your comment and no, I have not seen the movie but will look out for it. Cheers.
