The reflecting Cloud Gate Sculpture in Millenium Park in Chicago. It is commonly called the Bean but I was told by someone that it was inspired by a drop of mercury, signifying progress and technology. It is reported to be the most photographed thing in Chicago but I had to photograph it also. Who could resist??

Inspired by the Bean II by Hugh Fathers

Hugh has created a wonderful artistic interpretation of the Chicago Bean.

Barbara Brown is a mental health professional and an avid photographer. She lives in northern California and enjoys nature and all types of photography.

The clouds really helped you out that day. Worked out great.

  • Thanks Adam! The sky was much more foreboding when I walked by there later that evening. I guess to reflect my mood.

I’ve never heard of this before Barbara, what a wonderful thing, certainly gives a unique opportunity to get those apparent wide fisheye reflections, wonderful,
    Regards, Rod.
