Thank you for the great comment. Actually, on this I ran a single HDR that helped bring out the shadows. Doesn’t work with most shots but did pretty well here.

I’ve read a little about Mono Lake in a National Geographic. It said somthing about the water draining from it. It’s looking pretty good to me. Great shot.

Thanks Glenn! Southern California was draining the entire owens Valley of thier water. Too much demand. California has taken steps to reverse the damage and things are looking better.
