Honest, this is not staged. Noticed this wine bottle lying on the beach in San Francisco and, lo and behold, there was a message in it.

    Thank you Sean!! I wish I could tell you it was a mysterious and romantic message sent by someone stranded on a desert island but, alas, A young person with romantic ideas. Says she has been sailing the seas looking for her true love. He is tall, dark and handsome just like the beer and whiskey on this pirate ship!!

    This is a very unusual find indeed and you were fortunate to find it in great light.
    I really like the sense of real life mystery you have created with the photograph and narrative.
    (I think the note reads, “Send more wine!”) ;-)
    The exposure with a slowish shutter speed has been very well handled and your point of view and composition make sure we see exactly what the essense of this pictorial story is.
    Enjoyable and entertaining viewing.
