    Koi, Japanese carp, the cost of a mature Koi is $1000,00 in Australia.
    Koi typically measure from 6 to 10 inches in length when they are young but as they mature, they can reach 20 feet or more.

    Thank you so much Hans! This is not my pond but I do have a koi pond. Some of mine grew quite large but one night raccoons got them!! Very exoensive meal they had and I was so devastated.
