Life sometimes looks as a jigsaw puzzle.
Puzzled in front of the unfathomable depths of the soul and the ever growing complexity of the world, that has less and less boundaries and no obvious markings, no wonder that young modern intelligent women has a « je ne sais quoi » that makes them look so intriguing.
Inspired by my niece who is also the model.
Recently, I changed the title from « So intriguing » to « Puzzled ». I don’t know why it took me so long to find out the title that translates the best the idea I had in mind when making this picture. For a long time, I had it on the tip of my tongue, but I couldn’t put my finger on it, and, when I did, it seemed so obvious :). This is one of the disadvantages of not being an English speaker :).
The original picture was taken with a Canon PowerShot S3 IS 6.0 Mpx
f/4,0 1/200 ISO 100, 55mm
Mostly use of multiple color filters in Color Efex Pro; cropping, skin correction, cutting in pieces and displacement of the pieces, layers special effects in Photoshop CS3.
