Chocolate Hills, Chocolate Kisses by

An unusual geologic formation called “Chocolate Hills”, found in Bohol, Philippines. The name is derived from the appearance of the hills during the dry summer months wherein they become brown in color and look like Hershey’s chocolate kisses. During rainy months, the vegetation grows again and they become green. There are about 1700 plus of these hills and they really look like huge chocolate kisses during summer.

I love to take/create photos of things that we normally don’t see or maybe even take for granted. There is just so much beauty even in the most ordinary things like raindrops or the curl of a fern leaf, or even your ordinary egg slicer.

I also love interacting with creative and inspiring people.

And I love challenges! They inspire me!

Very interesting, nature is so amazing isn’t it! I hope you show us these when they look like chocolate kisses!

  • Hi Kathi,
    Nice to see you!
I sure would like to see it too when it is mostly brown. However, it may not be in the near future because it has been raining lately in that part of our country.
    Thanks again!
