This flower bloom was popular….2 butterflies on, and 1 bee fly coming in for a landing.

The larger butterfly….A Great Spangled Fritillary (Speyeria cybele) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family.

Anthrax is a genus of bombyliid flies, commonly known as “bee-flies” due to their resemblance to bees.

Daucus carota (common names include wild carrot, (UK) bird’s nest, bishop’s lace, and (US) Queen Anne’s lace) is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae.

Location: Long Lake, Alberta, Canada

I use a Canon PowerShot SX20IS and “what I see is what it is”.

Natural nature shots ….I don’t edit my work, and seldom has my camera ever pointed at a person. I prefer the beauty that Mother Nature places before us, and to leave it just as I saw it.
