Wetlands of the Vic Fazio Wildlife Preserve are an ancient piece of the Sacramento Delta 80 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. I can’t even imagine a water flow miles wide at times and moving so slowly you can’t tell it by looking. Fascinating in a way only the The Everglades still exist in the US and the Nile River in the Americas.
Oloneo PhotoEngine’s HDR program supplied the wildly “over the top” editing. In fact the program’s preset is called “over the top”. There was extensive cleaning up of the shot with PhotoShop Elements 7 cuz HDR pulls out all the warts as well as the wrinkles, zits, scars, discolouration, pimples, etc. you never see in the original image unless you’re using RAW files from the beginning and I wasn’t. Wanna know how dirty your camera’s sensor and mirrors are? Do an HDR of a light colour. ARRGH!
In the tho, this is a fun exercise in excess. :-D
