I got some very nice comments from my “Good ol’ #3” tribute edit so I’ve wanted to another edit using the heavy blur of everything except the subject(s). This shot seemed ideal. I was waaaaaaaay up in the boondocks and so far from the models some of my shots blurred from camera shake even using the tripod. (I didn’t trigger anything remotely except the group shots near the end of the day). But ever-present Ravelle stayed focused on even the guy she couldn’t have heard if I shouted. She looked into the lens and Brigette blinked. Instant magic. No way would I have caught this fraction of a second without the D90 cranking out 4.5 shots per second and I’ve got the shots during that same second before and after this one to prove it. :-)
Life has been one freakin challenge after another lately. Getting to see microseconds of magic goes a long way to blur some challenges.
I get the thrill of photography no matter what. Models get the thrill of profits only if Red Bubble sells their work. Thrill a professional model and buy their work. They pose more when they get to buy food between shoots. ;-)
