taken by the trees

Deep in the heart of the Grass Valley abandoned cemetery, this plot was once built around small trees. 150 years later, the trees are removing the fencing piece by piece.

Sweet addition to your series. I particularly like the fence section that appears to have become part of the front tree.

Thank you. Indeed that was the impetus for the title, as the tree literally took it into itself.

And I thank you very much. :) My series Images From Graveyards Of The West is collected in a gallery of its own, if you’d like to see all of them. And I tried to be respectful and keep them monochromatic as well as not-for-sale. :)
