Actually, there’s nothing wrong with Dusty posing. It’s just that it’s so flippin’ weird. The eyes make you think someone passed gas or something. The ears are…. well, strange. The smile is rather forced and he didn’t wipe the slobber off his chin first. But Dusty wanted to be in Red Bubble so Dusty is now in Red Bubble, funny face and all. Honestly, I don’t even know if the name Dusty is for him or the critter in the other pen but this guy knew his ears weren’t adorned with ‘tagged for dinner’ earrings so all was cool – this year…

Thank you, stephaniek! When the camera flashed I thought he would eat it before I could get it back thru the bars! But I suppose good old Dusty was just interested as all get out.
By the way, this shot as most of the better shots, was taken from inside the pen by either pushing the camera thru the bars or by reaching over them and shooting blindly – aiming and framing by guessing what the camera sees.

Thank you VERY much, jansnow! I try to be faithful to the subject (most of the time) and honest (well, a little less than most of the time in the blurbs) but together they usually tell a TinyTale of something or other. LOL! I don’t know if you noticed but I made Dusty look a bit more weird by tipping the image a bit. That’s the sort of ‘little cheating’ I’ll let slip by my ‘100% Honesty Button’. :-D

Absolutely ‘deer frozen’ and good catch about the ‘headlights’: the flash is what interested him the most and I wouldn’t have used it except the shot was back lit too much. Seconds later, Dusty put his nose on my UV filter, slobber and all.
Yes, their pupils are just plain odd and when I get to heaven, that’s one of my questions to God: “Sir? So what’s up with the weird pupil shapes in goats? You don’t have to answer unless you really want to, Sir, but You made me curious so….”

He was one happy goat and goats can be very happy creatures! If I ever had a big pet and a lot of room, it would be a goat. They make horses seem downright aloof!

LOLOLOL! I’m not sure if that’s a ‘plus’ or a ‘minus’. :-D You caught the entire concept except I was helping HIM out by doing his publicity photographs. But he’s a goat and not all that bright; he needed a lot of help I wasn’t all that eager to provide. Goat slobber removal just ain’t in this artist’s technique portfolio. Hehehehe!
