Lenny, I don’t know if captive horses worry or not, but you don’t have to worry about this photo! What a fabulous capture!
Lenny La Rue, IPA replied
Awww thank you! It was interesting getting them from this guy. He really did act worried or something but not just around me. I gave him a lot of pats and he seemed to love it but sorta paced when I walked away. My empathic impression was one of serious turmoil barely in check and that’s not too cool with an animal that freakin’ big and powerful. :-O

hahaha! He’s worried!! He relaxed as soon as you left! lol.

Brat! LOL! Read above and you’ll get the rest of that story but if a horse CAN worry, hiw wrinkled brow tells the tale.

they sure do worry, like when its feed time ..am i first ..wheres mine, its all me me me ..hehe
lovely shot great reflection too :) k
Lenny La Rue, IPA replied
Thank you, Kristina! You know, almost all of the other horses were out of their stalls so maybe he felt left behind for dinner! There wasn’t anything pushed outside his stall to slip him for nibbling so it was just him trusting me and the camera or I was gonna get nipped, head-butted, or ignored.
The reflection wasn’t seen until I got the shot home and them I was a bit surprised it was so clear. :-)

How lovely.. what a beautiful eye…it looks worried to me. I hope you gave him a stroke of his velvety skin for his troubles.
Very cool reflection LL.. ; ) was Stevie Wonder there too?? lol Wen x
Lenny La Rue, IPA replied
I gave him the most strokes of any horse and he looked like he needed every single one. Stevie Wonder was hanging out at the photo gallery examining some of the awesome shots there. BRAT! Incidentally, I plan to enter the photo exhibit next year.

Brilliant macro shot, the reflection is increadible!
Lenny La Rue, IPA replied
Thanks Elaine! I didn’t realize it was THAT close until I processed it. This guy let me get the camera within inches of his already worried face while I pet him constantly. I was very surprised by the reflection and love it framed within the horse’s sadness.
Marie Sharp
Unique and excellent capture!

I believe they do, as well as fear many things…
great shot!

Figures. Those two go hand-in-hand. But thanks for the kudos!

Good for you LL : ) I knew you would have… go for it babe! Wen x
Lenny La Rue, IPA replied
Woo hoo! With any amount of luck, Mr Worry will be back and he’ll remember me for some more strokes. And if I find some loose hay somewhere, he and I will have a snack together. :-)
I’ll bring Stevie to come and appreciate my photography… ;-)

Thank you very much! The Nevada County Faire was the location for this horse’s concern tho he didn’t reply when I asked what was wrong. :-/
