I'm NOT steppin' in THAT!
A completely irrelevant, completely useless title to an image of a bird landing on the goo of a beach. Did the bird mind the goo? Nope. Did I mind the goo? Well, sorta. Did it stop me from taking this shot of a bird flying a few inches off the ground while looking for the best place to land in the goo? Nope.
Go figure. :-)

Thanks all! After a positively disastrous day at work, reading these kind comments really helps me keep the right things in perspective. I’m an artist, darn it! Even if I don’t have a clue why I aimed at a gull that looked “not so pristine” (What a sweet way of saying, “butt-ugly”! LMFAO!), I got something with timing. There’s always something someone else sees in a piece the artist doesn’t so a BIG thank you to adgray!
Nancy, when you frame one of my shots it just makes it look so….professional! Thank you for taking the time to be so nice!
Once again, I deeply thank you all. :-)
PS The “goo” was all that moldering seaweed and kelp, certainly nothing the average sea gull would have stepped over! I hope I wasn’t thinking that this bird is so less than pristine that it looked down on less than pristine sand. LOLOLOLOL!

Thank you VERY much, margaretfraser! I have a rather disjointed body of work so I’m sincerely appreciative of a person who can enjoy its eclectic nature. You ROCK! :-)
