Just before 9am, the street remains sleepy. Morning sun, long shadows of trees growing in the middle of the street, and lovely scent of Sakura: great time for a walk!

Wow Lenka – I LOVE the repetition of the rooflines, and all the cars, bar one, in the rightful position. This has to be a winner!! Love it :-)
Oh Adriana, you are too kind! Thank you :) There are many people who consider Dutch streets in new(er) neighbourhoods to be very boring. It certainly depends on the architecture of that one particular street, but there is something about all that repetition for sure :) The day I’ve made this photograph the light was so great (after weeks of grey and grey), that worked for me!
Well, I see nothing boring about this composition at all. Well done!! :-D
magnificent capture, great repetition roof’s, we have many of those places like this here in the U.S.
As it is quiet and cozy! Softness of tones black and white is pleasant!
I really like the repitition of the houses and rooflines in your composition!
Such an excellent b&w
Love the composition, Lenka!
Wow what a fantastic image!!! 9am and they are still in the house? Such a neat street amazing..fabulous image in B/W…looks great on black….Ellanita
Thanks for your comments :)Not sure, many people have more than one car and some go to work on a bicycle. Well many elderly people live there, most of them still would be in the house indeed…
