Hanseatic City of Lübeck, ‘Gate to the Baltic’ founded in 1143 and declared a city as early as 1226, was Germany’s second largest medieval city. It was declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987. Its Old Town with approximately 1800 listed buildings is a true paradise (not only) for a photographer.

You can see the world-famous Holstentor (Holsten Gate), Lübeck’s landmark, in the background of the photograph.

Lenka tries to capture positive emotions. Her work features images highlighting inner and outer beauty of various subjects. She loves finding unique and unexpected perspectives of subjects normally considered as ordinary.
