Leon Russell, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Commemorative Art by L. R. Emerson II, 2011, licensing included this silver series being sold in a limited world edition of 1000 posters, 500 framed, matted or mounted prints, 250 photographic prints and only 7 canvas editions for the serious Emerson collector.

Having created work for Grammy winning singer/songwriter Leon Russell in 1991, 1992 and 1993 L. R. Emerson II created commemorative work for Leon Russell in 2011 to celebrate Leon’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Mr. Russell was inducted by musical collaborator Sir Elton John.

Subsequently L. R. Emerson II depicted Leon Russell in a series if Upside-Down Art making Leon Russell the first living subject of an Upside-Down Artwork anywhere on the entire world stage!

2005, after having been kept secret for over two decades, Masg or Upside-Down Art was introduced to more than 500 galleries and in excess of 50 renowned museums worldwide including:

To date, L. R. Emerson II has created more art than any artist living or from the past including having pioneered and created Upside-Down Art for thirty years. Emerson is also considered the leading artist of the, internationally followed Upside-Down Art movement. Within the history of art, Emerson may well be regarded the Pablo Picasso or Leonardo da Vinci of the 21st Century.
