My youth is slipping away.
I am twenty seven years old and I feel middle aged. The other day I discovered three grey hairs. Three! My alarmed cry of “Oh God, no!” did nothing to change the fact that I am getting older. Being a redhead is a jip. The claim that redheads stay gorgeous forever is but a cruel myth, designed to make us feel better about the fact that we are dying out and we can no longer blame our screaming matches on our hair colour. Next thing you know I’ll be sagging beneath the weight of crows feet, liver spots and incontinence. I’m already halfway there, I have two cats. And then I’ll be asking people to give up their seats on the tram and baking fruit cake. Sigh. Goodbye youth. We had alot of laughs.

30’s are great.I’m 40..yep..FOUR ZERO this year.not happy.no matter how many women tell me how fantastic their fourties are..I also have two cats:-)
