Today I’m in the garden watering and I see something whiz by
It lands atop of one of the metal planter posts and I get a closer look, oh my!
It’s a lovely dragon fly!
Ive never seen one this color before.
Quicly I’m off to get my camera hoping it will still be there for me to adore.
As I return and look around my yard ….
delightedly I my search isn’t too hard.
The dragon fly is flying here and there, landing long enough for me to get a good stare.
Of course my camera and lens shoot quickly, gently, and slowly as I can move my finger and watch the beautiful dragon fly out there.
The dragon fly so elegantly seems to pose. Take flight and pose and doesn’t seem to be annoyed by me and my lens at all.
I’m so delighted that it chose my yard to make a little call.
I filled my camera with photo after photo of various shots from the yard that afternoon, blackberries blooms, blackberries ripened ready to eat, three peaches ready to eat, other flying insects called yellow jackets.
I took my photos into unload it took quite a while with all those photos, a pretty large packet.
To my amazement not only didI find many lovely shots of all the beauty that lies in my back yard ….
one of the visitors that day, the dragon fly was a little card!
The most awesome photo I had taken that day looked like the dragon fly was smiling and so happy to be my subject for this photo shoot.
When you see this dragon fly, you’ll have to admit it’s rather cute.
