Where flowers bloom so does hope! by

I was given this litte poem from a friend when I had my double mastectomies 8/14/2004.

I thought it appropriate to show with the lovely flower blooming from my garden and put next to my peaceful water fountain in my living room.

Mainly not for whom wrote the statement Lady Bird Johnson a democrat which I am not, but to remind all that our election is a very few weeks away and that life is precious so please stop and smell a rose or two.

Think of how God has blessed each and every one of you. Yes, we all have had and are most I know experiencing some of the greatest turmoils in our lifes right now.

We deifinately DO NOT NEED, CHANGE for the wrong reasons! We need to look for hope in the future and experience of long term committment that has been shown, the fresh faced approach of a young family who is commited to helping our country with all the “reality tv” it can slam at their faces in a 24 hour day and still put a smile on. We have to step back and think what a team we have that can deal with that kind of pressure and not fall to that. So, let’s all move forward for the right reasons, get on your knees and pray we know that there is hope for this country for all who serve and are serving now. Let’s not forget to vote and leave all their hard efforts in dismay!

    Thank you Elaine,
I do think that we need to have a voice with the elections so close! I

look at the canditates and I think one thing. “Men and Women of an Era”

I also think of my self chosen project this past Memorial Day as I took photos in our local cemetary of all the men and women who had served for our country and were buried here in La Mirada, CA.

There are 500, we even have one Cival War Vet.

“Men and Women of many Eras”.

So, you can also think of another “aha moment”

I that very week as I took my children to a movie in La Habra California. There was a lovely breeze and to my left I was making a turn and the Chic A Filet fast food resturaunt just happened to be and still to this day is flying the largest American Flag in their city.

That American Flag is the largest flag flying between Bellflower, CA and La Habra, CA and I thought of this statement, “How many flags will it take”?

Not actually over the graves of the men and women in cemetaries!

How many flags will it take for us to come together as one nation, on universe to stop and have peace, solidarity, and unity? That is what God sacrificied his life for. The sins of our leaders have lead us to where we are today. There are no boundries when it comes to this I feel.

Flowers bloom in all countries, flags fly as well.

For leaders to lead and everyone to receive the glory of what God gave his life for I would like to share one of my favorite verses with everyone: Ephesians 1:5

I’m so thankful to share that with the world at this time. We all need to stop,, smell the roses, give this country some hope, look at the “era of the men and women running” and know in our hearts that if we pray we will be directed to make the right choice!

Fly as many flags as we can and show that we support the men and women who are and have served this country and believe in God and have their entire lives. Haven’t converted to some religion or another to be “accepted as what might fit in appropriatly as a presidential running mate or president elect”. Elect officials who have had God in their lives in some way or another all the time, not for a few years, I assure you this “Change” can and will bless our nation and hopefully make changes in the world around us (-:
