  • pene, Thank you , I think it was sleeping, have been playing around with extension tubes Wow! The next one called ” face off ” has a strange effect on me – almost gruesome?

  • Thanks Wojciech, thank goodness it didn’t move, although using a macro flash – f-stopping out to f11 does help with DOF.

    Who would have thought??? Since when do me thinks a blow fly good looking but hey there’s always a first! LOL! Great macro John! It looks amazing, just glad it’s not as big as a dog! I’d freak!

  • Thanks Gabrielle, they are truly amazing , I am still blown away, even after looking into their eyes for some 40 years now, its fun trying to make them look as big as dogs though!
