In order for me to even begin to explain myself as an artist, I must first explain and acknowledge the greatest feeling attainable as an artist. Actually, it requires no words. It is very evident to you, even now, as you are acting out the exact thing that fuels my fire. In this moment, you are spending time to read this, for whatever benefit it may accomplish. The fact that you are taking time out from your day… spending minutes of your lifeline to read this ramble is an honor for me. You see, every artist’s dream is to be acknowledged for achievement and even more than that, to make a difference in some way or another, on another person’s life. My work is meant to capture and collect you for some amount of time. In that time, you are in my mind, in my bed, in my arms. You are in my world.

With my work, I expect no single person to embrace what I’ve chosen to present. However, you will be forced to acknowledge it. I choose not to pull any figurative punches with my work. Instead, I enjoy showing you things that you may see or hear about on a daily basis in some new way. Your interpretation is my appetite. In that, I think that in order to achieve the purest level of interpretation, you must shake your stable foundation. It’s a trap anyway. A prescribed comfort of our time. When you violate that comfort, there’s no choice but to open your eyes to an alternative.

After all, if creation is the mother of invention; interpretation is her only child.
