this image started life as a pencil sketch and evolved from there.
The Double-mouthed sailtail generously tows his companion, Blockhead, across the Atlip desert. Blockhead shields Gorff from the watchful eye of the ever hungry Zylap. Their trusty, but aging pumpkin droid, brings up the rear.

My artwork ranges from the traditional, to the slightly offbeat.
With the wildlife and landscape, paintings, I like a more photo-realistic approach, with light, colour, emotion and a sense of space, being key components.
My cartoons are a little quirky, with themes and styles varying according to mood.

love the description, the humour, the animation. It feels like a complete story.
thanks again Pilgrim. It’s amazing where you can end up when you start off by just taking a line for a walk :)
fantastic!!!
thanks lindsay -does this mean I can stay out of the loony bin or that we’ll be in there together :) It is a little far out, but I enjoyed watching it happen.
Far out is the best fun, you are in good company
Thanks again kind lady
I love your fantasy / sci-fi work. Very professional. Do you publish any in print media (ie magazines, books) or just paint for them for fun?
thanks Celia, much appreciated. I would like to, but at the moment they have just been for fun. They have been fun to do and totally different to the normal traditional type wildlife painting that I do. See www.tomgodfrey.com if you are interested and you’ll see what I mean.
Your characters are so surreal and interesting. Like Pilgrim said, it feels like there is a whole story behind these three.
If I was a movie producer for sure I’d make one out of your work. But if I ever meet one I’ll put in good word for you lol!
