There is a story in here somewhere…too late to create it…maybe a collab…Anne? :)
I started off playing about with abstract shapes,colours and textures using acrylic on an MDF panel. I photographed the panel and drew on it using Painter and a Wacom tablet. I have left a little piece of the original acrylic -the bottom left in front of the dark rock with the two, “watchers” :)
My artwork ranges from the traditional, to the slightly offbeat.
With the wildlife and landscape, paintings, I like a more photo-realistic approach, with light, colour, emotion and a sense of space, being key components.
My cartoons are a little quirky, with themes and styles varying according to mood.
