Puppet Master

Puppet Master

I started this line drawing years ago in a staff meeting :) and only finished it today. I think the idea was that it is sometimes the puppet who controls the master. Thinking metaphorically here.

Puppet Master belongs to the following groups:

Doodle Do, Humorous Illustrations ( NO PHOTOGRAPHY ) , Pencil Drawing (2 per 24 hrs) and Practising the Dark Arts Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

That must have been the longest staff meeting in history – and it seemed you managed to liven it up with your doodle – if you parden the expression! I’m just imagining what the others thought while you were sketching, presumably, beneith the table. As always Tom, i have to give you a gold medal for your many creative talents.

Great concept, a lot of truth.
I wonder if hatted-man recognises himself from that meeting…

Thanks guys. A lot of truth in your comment Anne – sometimes I wonder where they come from maybe I’m channelling a weird entity ,or maybe I’m just weird. :) Glad to know you’ve been re-motivated Murray and rgew yeh it was fun to keep it loose – let the characters gradually emerge from the ball of string :) The headmaster was very understanding of my need to Doodle ( no comment Brian :) and yes most of our meetings were long, at least he believed that I was paying attention. Very productive Troy :)The drawing sort of kept that distractible part of me occupied, while another part kept listening – like looking into a camp fire and being able to explore philosophical depths simultaneously while looking at the movement of the flames- there’s more to my theory, but no time to bore you now :) A visiting professor was presented with my caricature of him after he had addressed us for an hour or so. An over eager staff member saw my work in progress and grabbed it at the end to give to him. Luckily he seemed impressed and not offended :)

Excellent work! Well Done! I thought the character in the background looked something like Stevie Ray Vaughan. Very cool!
