Ha, ha! This is hilarious! I showed it to my flatmate who accidentally ‘knocked off’ her Siamese fighting fish. I think she will have nightmares now….

You guys are getting seriously (brilliantly) weird. This is brilliant, funny and superbly executed.

Cool Tom! I’m yet to finish my bit of the collaboration, because I’m having trouble finding the right deserted location around the inner Melbourne suburb of Prahran where I live!

haha, you know whenever i see these fighting fish in pet stores, i always try and imagine them actually fighting…great portrayal

Why do people say this is bizarre? It’s an awesome concept – a fighting fish with an awesome aqua-weapon. Makes sense to me! And the artwork totally rocks.

Obviously the concept is great – top marks—however I like the detail in the refelcetions and that fish has a huge attitude which would probably be there even without that weapon! Colours to me suggest a lighter almost pastel shade subject which somehow enhances Freddy’s kick ass siamese fighting mood.

well constructed imaginary work,

I see the Siamese fighter well portrayed nice to have two vieing with each other. In aquarist shops they have these fish in one tank separated by a piece of glass spliting the tank in two parts, so the fish do not damage each other, yet can see themselves and they go wild, shame as they get exhausted quickly.
