Bundeena Sunset

Bundeena Sunset

A pastel I did a while ago, but I can’t remember if I ever had it on Red Bubble. So, just in case here it is.

We had just finished a walk through the National Park and were waiting for the Bundeena Ferry when I took this shot. Interesting lighting and so I decided to try the more subdued understated approach.

Bundeena Sunset belongs to the following groups:

Contemporary Pastel Painters (2 per day), Fine Arts and Impressionism Café Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Wow, beautiful – the orange is gorgeous against the complementary blue! Really lovely painting, Tom!

  • Tom Godfrey replied

Thanks rar. I thought I’d leave most of the foreground the orange of the paper, for dramatic effect. Seems to have worked. Thanks for the comment

Didn’t realise you did it on orange paper – great idea. I did a tiger on orange paper a few years back. Sure saves a lot of pastel and yours looks great!

  • Tom Godfrey replied

Too true re saving pastel. Thanks rar
