The "Liberator"

The "Liberator"

It’s some time since I entered a pic in the horror genre. Sadly this one is not really fantasy. A liberator, a deliverer from minority oppression. yeh right!

Talk about ”...out of the frying pan and into the fire”

It’s sad . . . how many historic figures have gone from liberator to tyrant.
That aside . . . Excellent work Tom. You’ve portrayed this in a most appropriate light.

  • Tom Godfrey replied

Thanks Wizard. good observation – sad but true…”absolute power corrupts absolutely.” as they say.

It ’s being suggested here that the ‘honourable’ title be withdrawn from Sir Robert. Wonder if they can remove his manhood as well as his knighthood. Odd how these people decry the west but take everyhting it has to offer. Keep up the good work Tom.

  • Tom Godfrey replied

Thanks Sir Brian, At least your title is well deserved :) Yup he is a bit like a crazy Monty Pythonish character… “Sir Robert the puffed up stupid tyrant” Agreed re – beat the west with one hand while you are taking with the other -crazy!

    bubbleblue

    very well done

  • Tom Godfrey replied

Thanks bubbleblue. Sad to think he is still there, killing what is left of a once great African country.. shame on the world.

  • TheBlindHog

    TheBlindHog

An amazingly powerful image. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Tom Godfrey replied

Thanks TheBlindhog. It’s a pity that he still hangs onto power and millions of innocents suffer. Zimbabwe, the once shining gem of Africa, now wallows amongst the poorest and saddest. This image is a small attempt on my part, to help spread an awareness and maybe provoke some action.
