Yeah, I’m always saying that. Every day is really “the day” isn’t it? Like…twenty years from now we might talk about what we did back in the day in 2009.
By the way….I’m asking everyone I know…..who do you think will win the race above? If you can say what makes you come to that conclusion, that would be great.

I asked a friend last night, who he would put his money on and this was his reply.
as much as I want the one in the background to win (= issues with supporting the underdog, whilst battling a kill em desire) I still would have to back the one in the foreground. Its the strange barstool with the dark glasses in the background that has a voyeuristic creepiness that worries me…
These are the pearls of wisdom from another of my male friends… heavy sigh….
In answer to your question – ‘Who you think will win?’
1. I truly believe that all 3 runners are all equal winners for being let out of the kitcken by their masters to participate in this race/activity.
2. Vertically challenged people (midgets) should never be allowed to compete against tall people, does nothing for their self esteem.
3. Do you have a name or/and contact mobile number for the darker skinned runner, She’s a hottie, nice boobs!

the girl in the middle will clearly win, the set of her mouth, the calm/quiet determination in her eye & the angle of her body & position of her arm . . . all puts her in the box seat to win hands down. the girl in the forground is trying too hard. the girl in the background has faltered in the dying stages of the race.
but what would i know . . . what shade of lipstick will i wear today ?

Interesting comments, Amanda. You’re the only person I’ve asked today who has backed the girl on the right. You see a calm/quiet determination in her that no one else seems to see. I wonder if you identify with her on some level.

I think the dark-skinned woman in the foreground will win, she has a look of fierce determination, but not the desperation of the middle runner!!
Thanks Alexandra. The word “fierce” has come up a couple of times amongst other people I’ve asked also. People seem to equate a woman looking “fierce” with confidence and being “hot” as in sexually attractive. I wonder if there is something within us which wants or expects the more attractive person to win.
I find the girl on the right hard to read. Yesterday after drawing her, I thought she looked worried. Now I’m thinking…perhaps its a look of steely resolve? She is still running….fast…and her fist to me looks like she’s up for the fight and she’s thinking, come on then, bring it..
I look at the woman who’s fallen and I think, oh that’s a shame…but you never know, do you…she may return at the next race and kick all their asses.
