“There were always in me, two women at least,
one woman desperate and bewildered,
who felt she was drowning and another who
would leap into a scene, as upon a stage,
conceal her true emotions because they
were weaknesses, helplessness, despair,
and present to the world only a smile,
an eagerness, curiosity, enthusiasm, interest.”

Thanks Matt. Its night here now and the only light in the room is from the computer screen. I’m looking at the painting from about 10 feet away….its grabbing what little light there is and appears to be glowing!

Lee, I just love this……the delicacy of the leaves, the richness of the gold, and the beauty of the Anais quote…..sigh….you always slay me with your magic.
