Thanks everyone. I’m really enjoying this series.
Karolina…yeah, I am not using watercolours in the traditional way. I’m using them straight from the tube, without any water at all and spreading the paint like butter across the paper, using an old ruined paintbrush with bristles that are rock-hard and stuck together. I guess its more like a small pallet knife now, than a brush. I’m using a rough-tooth paper as well, for a textured finish. If you look close you can see “drag marks” created by the dry brush.
