I’ve been reading a little about wereism, shape-shifters, etc. lately. I’m not someone who believes everything they read, but I do find it fascinating… particularly trying to visualise how a person transforming into an animal might look.
In Shamanism, snakes represent the cycle of transformation through birth, death and rebirth, due to their ability to shed their skin. Snake people are often very wise and have the power to renew themselves.

Thanks Catherine. I had intended her to be something like Tainted Love ...and I was listening to an upbeat dance track, however this troublesome girl did not want to behave and the more she fought me, the darker she got and the more mean looking her eyes became. So eventually I thought….I’m not going to sit here and let you look at me that way....and I painted her eyes shut…ha! Only then did I start to pick up her vibes…that she did not like the music we were listening to. So I looked at her for a while and then it came to me…...Black Snake Moan ....and then I painted her nose and forehead dark and she was done.

I should add….I have been reading about wereism lately…so obviously its the thoughts percolating in the back of my mind which have bubbled to the surface in this one.
