These Dreams
subject: This painting began as a self portrait, however the nose and mouth were wrong. I was overtired I suppose…haven’t been sleeping well lately. As I fought with it…another face began to emerge….a familiar face. Eventually I realised its the face of a friend I haven’t seen in almost 20 years. Why this face should bubble up out of my subconscious now, I have no idea. Although I have been thinking about the past a lot lately.
