I'm Off Line for a few days, Computer probs :(

I’m gonna be off line for a few days, my computer is down :(
The internal battery died & I got the ‘blue screen of death’. I took the comp. in to be fixed & they changed the battery no probs & ‘did some updates’ and now I can’t access any sites where I have to log in – RB, FB, Hotmail…. At least I didn’t loose any pics & can still work on them.
Weird thing is that now my ‘google’ home page doesn’t fit on the screen any more… you have to scroll across… ( I use Firefox/Mozilla – now the latest version) & my ‘slide show’ of pics that come up on my screen are all cropped & smaller & don’t fit the screen properly anymore… I still use a small CRT screenR…

Plans for the Development of Mt Barker Summit:

Mount Barker Summit – Conservation NOT Recreation

The District Council of Mt Barker in conjunction with the South Australian Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board is planning to upgrade Mt Barker Summit, to ‘improve the appearance’ & widen the paths to ‘make them more accessible’.

There are already countless ‘recreation reserves’ in Mt Barker & the Summit is the last bastion for conservation in the area, & is about to be destroyed.

Mount Barker Summit is one of the largest & last remaining pieces of natural bush accessible to the public, in an area that is already under immense pressure from clearing, expansion, & development.

Their plans for improvement will lite…

Heat Wave

During this heat wave I’ve heard that birds & animals are getting very distressed & dying…ie – possums who can’t cope with the intense heat, just falling out of trees. Yesterday, on my way home from work I saw a pigeon sitting on a car roof…it looked very distressed & I’m guessing didn’t survive.

Due to our water restrictions people aren’t filling up their bird baths, and many households & work places don’t have any water outside & the birds & animals are struggling to find water to cool themselves down & hydrate in this heat.

So, to help the birds & animals that share our baking planet, I thought I’d suggest that people place an icecream container of water outside during this heatwave, to help the…

Last Chance to by my work @ Café Alto

Hi All,

For those of you who have seen my work on display at Café Alto in Mt Barker, this is the last chance you’ll have to buy that picture you’ve been eyeing off, as they are coming down in two weeks time! So if there’s something you’ve been admiring, or something you’ve seen that you thought someone else might like, now is the time to grab it before they go : )

Many thanks,
