Here’s one from Southarm beach the other morning, got a little bit wet this morning as about 5 seconds after this shot a wave came through at about knee height, i was lucky i heard it coming and got the camera out of the way, was a fun drive home all wet lol. The joys of being up at stupid o’clock.

Lol! There’s always one biggie! Great shot! :)

  • :) there sure is i actually had to put my one of my feet in a little sink hole and lean into the wave as i though it was gonna take my feet out, i also got wet a little earlier on to but i will tell that story when i post the pic, it was one of the most exhilarating shoots i have ever had :)

A fantastic, VERY moody capture, Lee!!! What we photographers will do for a great image, eh!!

  • Cheers Phil :) yeah its all fun and games.
heading back in a few days as i want to re-shoot with some nice water fall action.. think i will take a change of clothes this time lol was thinking waders but if a wave came in like last time i recon it would nearly put me in the drink and the current it pretty strong here.

Well braved in the conditions Lee, I forgot spare socks the other morning and had to carry on without any for the rest of the day.

Love the colours in this and the incoming wave looks seriously impressive as the water in front moves around at some pace too.

  • Thanks Stuart, oh no not good mate.. cant wait to get back there, i would have stayed longer but the waves just kept getting bigger and bigger and i missed the shot i wanted saving my camera lol.
Ah well like Arnie says “I’ll be back” lol
