Bambi

Why I chose this title: Anyone who have seen the movie Bambi a few times during their childhood (or in adulthood) might remember the scene where Bambi was experiencing his first winter and explores the forest after a heavy snowfall. Every once in a while, large clumps of snow would fall from the branches and land right on top of Bambi.
Well, this is pretty much what was happening in that photoshoot. I took this on a sunny, cloudless day. There was no fog whatsoever. What you see here is the powdery snow being shaken off the treetops by the breeze, creating this misty effect

... and yes, at some point there was a particularly LARGE clump that landed on top of me. Thank god I was wearing a hat and scarf!
