Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I remember. My parents gave me my first camera at the age of 7yrs. and there has been no stopping me!! I did work as a Nurse for 25 yrs and my camera a hobby but in 1995 I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. Nursing was no longer an option for me so I had to discover who I was besides a Nurse. So…. here I am , Leann Moses Rardin photographer/graphic arts.
I am the mother of 3 and grandmother of 8 (all boys – alot of testosterone in my house lol)
I have always had a love of the Heartland so I shoot prairiescapes/landscapes, my attempt to show the ever changing beauty of the USA Heartland. Five years ago I opened a gallery in the small Illinois town where I have lived my entire life and raised my family. main st gallery is located in Arcola, Illinois neslted in a century – old building on a brick street in the heart of Illinois Amish Country.
Everything I do starts with a photo, I may paint or add effects or use them straight from my camera. My attempt to show the simpler, quieter side of life. Maybe just slow things down a little in this hustle we all live in, no matter our location.
I hope you enjoy
