Road Trips the right way
Over the school hols we packed the family in the car, hooked up the caravan and headed off on a nearly 3,000km round trip to the Coffs Coast.
The road trip, with 3 young kids in the back was a bit worrying so I was super prepared. Road Trip Tips describes what we did to prepare and how successful the first part of the …

Winter! Who'd have it?
The day before spring and I think the winter lurgies have almost left us. At least I hope they have.
Talk about an unproductive stretch! Just when one kid (or adult for that matter) was starting to sound healthy another one would bite the dust. My days have been filled with coughs, snot and Ventolin.
The last couple of mornings the birds have been chirping. We’ve certainly been having sp…
A Day Out with Dali
On the weekend we ventured to “The Big Smoke” to check out NGV’s Salvadore Dali exhibition: Liquid Desire. We’d tossed over whether to go for a while as we weren’t sure whether the kids would be able to stick it out. They lasted about 20 minutes :-P
You can read more about our Day Out with Dali at my blog.

Australian Travel Writing & Photography Redbubble Group
I’ve always loved reading about and looking at beautiful photographs of Australia. I love seeing it for myself even more. Earlier this year I decided to combine these loves and try my hand at photographing and writing about it myself. Being a bit of a research nut, I looked to my good friend Google for some more specific information.
One of the first sites that Google suggested was the “A…

Bugger the housework
After a less than auspicious start to the day yesterday, I decided to ignore the housework piling up, pack the camera, a bit of food and my four year old daughter into the car and head off for some happy snapping.
I wasn’t exactly sure where I was going when I set off but thought I’d better include the beach somewhere along the line or else I’d be bearing the wrath of Miss 4 before too long….
Amazing opportunity
I just blogged about the new opportunity given to members of the Australian Travel Writing & Photography Redbubble group. I still can’t quite believe it! Thanks to everyone involved for all your hard work.
