Don't Push Me Away
The format is suposed to be more zigzag than the site can provide.
Today
Or tomorrow
Just stay,
Please stay.
We’ll play
A game
Not of sorrow
Something we borrow,
Like joy.
For a while
We’ll be happy
Untill it gets sappy
Then we’ll stop.
And figure out
Just how
This all came about.
I’ll ask
And you’ll answer
(serious as Cancer)
with something practical,
and factual
like only you do.
Then maybe I’ll be less bipolar
&/or controller;
No more leash.
Much less lamenting
Of the contending
For your love
Now that we’re over
Morover,
Relaxed
No more perplexed
Is our relation,
Lower is my trepidation
Yet, not gone;
Quiet it sits
In the clam midst
Of my thoughts
That have consequently,
Not quite immensely
Become more farmiliar;
Instead of fighting
I’m writing
Again.
Things are coming together
Like after stormy weather
And it’s nice;
Soon we’ll be normal
Much less formal
Once more.

Being favorited and watchlisted by someone as blazingly creative as you are is an honor. Thanks so much.
LeaLoo replied
really? wow. thanks. your pretty cool too :)
your sure its not too ‘wordy’?
Peter Maeck
Its very lack of wordiness is one of its main virtues and strengths. ... Another virtue, getting specific, is the sequence of typeface variations in key words: boldface to underline to italic (stop/no more leash/relaxed/etc.). You put the graphic element to work, in support of the words of the poem themselves.
LeaLoo replied
that is what I was atempting :) Glad it came thru.
