“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.” ~ John Muirn
Too few our precious years
To witness splendors that cause enraptured tears.
Limited in time
Limited in space.
I reflect upon the Human race.
Let us awaken and overcome the fears
Expand our awareness and become true seers
Of the infinite harmony
The expansive majesty wanting of embrace.
Let the mind be open to the wonders
Not blinded nor dominated by that which has been torn asunder.
Dwell not in sorrow
Dwell not in hate
Be not like those who desecrate.
For rainbows will follow after the thunders
And though they may try, Eden will never be plundered.
Everything has balance
and She strives to create.
Destruction and chaos are not he sum of Her fate.
Seeing through transient mortal eyes
Heeding the words of the sages and wise
It is only you who can realize
When it seems like darkness is closing in
Or thoughts of apathy followed by acts of sin
It is then that we must begin
To realize these moments are only a guise
And let our true nature, love and awe arise.
It is time for us to look around
and see the beauty that truly surrounds.
Yearn to be conscious of all that is.
Be not consumed by the folly and dismiss
Prodigies and marvels and all the bliss.
For reality and our lives are nothing less than profound
Compassion and miraculous life abounds.
In corporeal form, woe to he who to this
Would banish from self, ignore and remiss.

“The first act of awe, when man was struck with the beauty or wonder of Nature, was the first spiritual experience.”~ Henryk Skolimowski
