Hand cut goose feather, and felt tip pen, on paper. This was an experiment, I was working on designing a new type of lesson for drawing students….basically, get a sketchbook and pencil, and watch the tv machine.. or chat… or something….and without looking at the sketchbook AT ALL{hide it from yourself under the table if you have to}, and not thinking about it… just letting the hand roam …. and just doodle…...then later… preferably much later.. just look at it, like a Freudian {or was that Jung?} inkblot…and see if you can see SOMEthing…go over the something.. and erase the rest…add in any extra’s. Tis surprising what you will find…..
