West Quoddy Head in Lubec, Maine is the easternmost point of the contiguous United States and overlooks Quoddy Narrows, a strait between Canada and the United States. The lighthouse has distinctive red-and-white stripes, and was built in 1858. (Taken 8/9/12 – Canon EOS 60D)
