Colors of the Forest by Lori Deiter
Clear

The forest at Rickett’s Glen State Park is lush and green with the abundance of rain. The bright orange fungus (or whatever it is), below Sheldon Reynolds Falls caught my eye, so I tried a new angle. Taken 6/2/12 – near Red Rock, PA, USA. Natural colors.
Canon EOS 60D, Sigma 10-20 Wide Angle Lens, 4 second exposure

An excellent angle, Lori – the fungi point the way to the waterfall yet add a non-distracting dash of colour to the beautiful scene.
