Today the Northeastern US experienced a rare October snow storm. Most folks are usually enjoying the peak autumn colors, but instead we were shoveling heavy wet snow. In central Pennsylvania we had about 6 inches of heavy wet snow that stuck to the autumn leaves. The weight of the snow combined with the foliage looked beautiful, but caused a lot of tree damage and power outages. 10/29/11 – Clarks Valley Road, Tower City, PA, USA
