When thousands of Snow Geese are flying together, I imagine they must stay focused in order to avoid crashing into each other. The sight of a mass takeoff is just a marvel of nature.

Features:

Taken 2/26/11 in a field near Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, USA. Sharon and I left Middle Creek in search of old barns and found a field filled with thousands of snow geese miles away.
Canon EOS 60D, 150-500 Sigma lens

Love the title, it is so fitting! Reminds me of Finding Nemo, “just keep on swimming, keep on swimming” only for them it’s flying. BTW the one in focus really stands out like 3D.
    Great shot!!

Awesome depth of field shot, Lori!!!!! That must have been one very hard shot to get at 500mm. Even with an auto focus lens, it would be very difficult.
